Car show/rally/gathering in Rapid City last weekend or this weekend? When we were up there a few years ago we stumbled across the Corvette Classic traffic. It’s so weird to be in bumfuck South Dakota and realize 75% of the cars on the road are ‘Vettes.

did you get some free ice water? Wall drug is the king of tourist traps. Murdo SD is right in that are also, they have an alright car museum that could be worth to stop at for a break.

Got the free ice water, the 5¢ coffee and the free bumper sticker. My expectation of Wall Drug were very low, and the place met my expectations. But it was still fun.

In Custer SP right now. Came up to see the Badlands, Rushmore, Devils Tower, etc. We’re about 1500 miles in so far.

Nice, check out deadwood while your are in the Black Hills. Its a pretty cool little town, they have the chair Wild Bill Hickok was shot in above the door in the Saloon No. 10. They also have a ton of casino’s if your interested in that kinda stuff.
